BIG Impact, Little Cost Ideas

It's the little details that really make a wedding unique and memorable, and fortunately these simple things can be super inexpensive! It's all about personal touches, pops of color, and carrying your wedding's theme throughout! Check out some of these great ideas to provide a HUGE impact on your wedding's overall vibe, without breaking the bank!

Happy Planning!

Chair Ties & Table Runners
Talk about the most cost effective way to add color and drama! The Currituck Club offers lamour chair ties, which also double as table runners, for only $1.75 a piece. Let's crunch the numbers: if you have 10 guest tables, a runner for each would only cost $17.50 total! Chair ties for 100 chairs? Only $175.00. But the best-kept secret? Only use chair ties on every other chair! You'll get the same impact, but at half the cost!

Dinner and Bar Menu Signs
Such a simple way to continue your theme or color scheme! Type up a menu and frame it, or even just write it on a chalkboard - both can be less than $5!

Chargers
Chargers just make a table look so put together, and add a pop of color to the place setting. We have Silver  Chargers available for rent here at The Currituck Club (only $1 per charger!!) and we can rent specialty plates for you through our linen company! You can also bring your own - hint: chargers in a variety of colors are always on sale at places like Michael's and Garden Ridge, and can even be found at Dollar Tree!

Escort Cards
No need to spend money getting them professionally printed - many basic computer programs have templates so you can do it at home! Who says they have to be printed though? Handwriting your guests' names makes it even more personal! Look at these simple and very cost-conscious escort cards - you can even buy things like Scrabble tiles, wine corks, and starfish/sand dollars online in bulk!

Specialty Drinks
Although not exactly decor, this is another great way to personalize your wedding without really costing anything extra! One way to incorporate a signature drink is to select one that matches your theme or your color scheme. For example, if your colors are blue and yellow, your drink could be a Blue Motorcycle or a Lemon Drop. If your event is beachy, you could do almost anything, like a Mai Tai, just add an umbrella! Another option is to offer a drink that is special to you and your groom - think Groom's Jack & Coke and Bride's Bay Breeze. Also a great idea if you want to offer a liquor drink, but not a full open bar - offering beer & wine, with a signature drink is the perfect choice!

Cocktail Napkins
You can personalize your own beverage napkins with your wedding colors, design, names, date, whatever! These bring a pop of color to your cocktail hour, and you can get 100 napkins for only $19.99 (probably less, too)! You can even purchase them through The Knot!
