Fiery Bright Colors ~ Something Different for August!

Finally a nice weather day for a wedding! Dawn and Todd had a great August day for their wedding - not too hot but lots of sunshine! Loved the choice of red and orange for this wedding - still bright and summery but different! Favorite things to note: Luggage tag escort cards (perfect for a destination wedding!) & the poms on the foyer stairway!

Best Wedding Date of the Year - In My Opinion :)

Kim & Brian chose the best date of the year - July 21st, 2012. I'm slightly partial to all things 7.21, because it's my birthday! I was happy to share the day with this great couple, however I was not as happy to share it with the scary storms that decided to begin as soon as their ceremony was complete and continue on through the majority of the evening. Fortunately, one of the things that we are great at is quickly flipping a room and providing a "Plan B". We didn't quite make it through dinner before we had to bring everyone inside to the Rees Jones Lounge, but then got everyone back out under the veranda to dance the night away after entrees! Thank goodness for a relaxed couple, understanding guests, and a hardworking Currituck Club team!
