#TBT - Full Circle Wedding

Here's a #TBT for the record books friends! I'm so excited to share this wedding for so many reasons:

3) The color combo of lavender and silver was so unique and beautiful!

4) This wedding was selected as a featured "Real Wedding" in the 2015 Outer Banks Bride Magazine - we've been PUBLISHED y'all! (P.S. - If you haven't seen the magazine yet go view it online or request your own copy now!)

A little history...

The groom, Matt, and I actually met at The Currituck Club back in 2009 when he was a cart attendant and I was a beverage cart girl! We were just babies in college at the time and who knew 6 years later he would marry Lexie back here at The Currituck Club?! Another fun twist - their officiant was Tony Joseph of I Do OBX Weddings, who was also the Head Golf Professional at The Currituck Club for years before moving to the wedding business and their photographer was Ryan Diegelmann of Coastal Shots Photography, who was the Assistant Golf Professional at The Currituck Club! So at one point in time, our groom Matt, Tony, Ryan & I all worked together at the Club :) This was definitely a full circle kind of wedding and a "family affair"!

#FlashbackFriday ~ Romantic August Wedding

We're in the middle of the chaos that is May - one of the busiest wedding months of the year - so I missed our throwback Thursday post yesterday! Good thing there's #FBF (Flashback Friday!) so we don't have to wait a full week to post this beautiful, romantic wedding from last August! Loved the color palette of navy blue, blush pink and bright blue mason jars and the floral chandelier is one of my favorite things to date in our veranda - kudos to The Embellishers!

#TBT Summer Celebration

Although my "Type-A, planner-at-heart" personality loves details and diagrams of any type, this wedding went with a "less is more" details mentality and it really paid off! This #TBT wedding focused on the marriage and the celebration instead of the "little things" and the end result? A beautiful day and wonderful memories! Even though there wasn't a down-to-the-minute timeline and a set plan for every single item, everything was still stunning and the day progressed flawlessly. Make sure you check out the ceremony decor below and I think you'll agree :) This couple, their family and friends are also part of the Corolla "family" so the event was truly a "family affair" in our small town last year!
